Former Falcons defensive end/linebacker Kroy Biermann, who wasn't re-signed after eight seasons with the team, is set to visit the Detroit Lions, according to a NFL Media report.

Biermann played 516 defensive snaps (49.1 percent) for the Falcons last season. He played 334 special teams snaps (81.1 percent).
