Reed held out of practice with shoulder injury

Sept 14, 2016

Falcons defensive end Brooks Reed, who suffered a shoulder injury against Tampa Bay, did not practice with the team on Wednesday.

“Brooks will be out today,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said. “He’ll run and condition on the side. He’ll get no practice reps today. He may do some individual.”

Reed had been injury prone since signing with the Falcons. He was slowed in 2015 by a lingering groin injury that eventually required surgery.

Reed played 22 of 64 defensive snaps (34 percent) against the Bucs, but did not record a tackle.
