Falcons coach Dan Quinn was not pleased with the sideline shoving match between defensive line coach Bryan Cox and defensive tackle Ra’Shede Hageman during the 38-0 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.

Quinn met with both Cox and Hageman on Monday.

“Two emotional guys,” Quinn said. “A disagreement, for sure that is one that I handled in-house with both of them.”

Quinn had to step in during the game to defuse the situation after the Falcons went down 14-0.

“They are both top notch guys,” Quinn said. “B. Cox was looking out for him when Ra’Shede was emotional during that time on a play. At no point is that going to be part of our football. I talked to both of them about it.”

Quinn said he’d like to keep those talks “in-house.”
