Here’s what Clemson running back Wayne Gallman, who played at Loganville, had to say at the scouting combine:

Q: Are you passionate about blocking? Is that an area of your game you want to show off to teams?

A: "I believe that I'm pretty much one of the best all-around backs in this draft. That's something I really took advantage of this past season knowing that I had to do a little extra to get to that championship. I was accountable for myself for that."

Q: What’s been the most eye-opening part of the experience here so far?

A: "Just all that you have to do and just sitting in those rooms talking to teams, realizing how blessed you are. Not a lot of people get to do this. You can't take it for granted."

Q: How would you describe the medical part of this whole week?

A: "Um, a lot of yanking. A lot of yanking. It's been a really long process from the hospital to medicals yesterday, but you gotta have fun with it because this only comes one time."

Q: What are the things you’re saying to teams to stand out?

A: "Basically that I have a skill-set that I believe is different than any back in this class. I think I still have a lot of potential to show and that I'm ready to show it."

Q: Have you talked to Steelers, and if yes how was that meeting?

A: "I have. I really liked the running backs coach. Cool, down to earth. They have a good program. You see what they've been doing this past season and that's always a good team to play for."
