It appears as if a New England Patriots fan has purchased the website HeadsetGate.com in an effort to troll the NFL and Pittsburgh Steelers fans.

"We were listening to the Patriots radio broadcast for the majority of the first half on our headsets," Tomlin said after New England beat the Steelers 28-21 on Thursday night in the NFL opener.

Responding to a report on the TV broadcast that the Pittsburgh coaches lost the ability to talk over their headsets, Tomlin said, "That's always the case."

"Here?" a reporter asked.

"Yes," Tomlin said.

The Steelers posted the following statement on the team's website.

Bill Belichick dismissed the accusations that the headset issues were caused deliberately by the Patriots organization, according to Fox 25 News Boston.

The hashtag #HeadsetGate quickly took off on social media, and the online storm continues with the webpage.
