Cornerback Christopher Owens, one of the Falcons key special teams players, was declared out of the divisional playoff game against Seattle on Friday.
Owens, who is also the backup nickel back, suffered a hamstring injury against Detroit on Dec. 22.
He is fourth on the team in special teams tackles and has a penchant for chasing down kickoff and punt returners if they break open.
He could be missed against the Seahawks, who have one of the most dangerous return men in the game in Leon Washington.
Defensive end John Abraham (left ankle) and safety Charles Mitchell (calf) were both limited in practice and declared questionable.
Safety William Moore (hamstring) and cornerback Dunta Robinson (concussion) fully participated in practice and were declared probable.
For Seattle, running back Marshawn Lynch practice for the first time the week. He was limited with a foot injury and declared probable for the game.
Wide receiver Sidney Rice (knee) was added to the injury report as he did not practice, but was listed as probable. Safety Jeron Johnson (hamstring) was limited in practice and listed as questionable. Cornerback Byron Maxwell (hamstring) did not practice and was listed as doubtful.
