Las Vegas likes the Falcons' chances at staying undefeated Sunday and sweeping the NFC East.

Early lines have Atlanta as a 9-point favorite against the visiting Washington Redskins at the Georgia Dome (1 p.m., Fox).

Oddsmakers have good reason to like the Falcons. The Falcons are averaging 34.5 points per game and face a Redskins defense that has allowed nearly 20 points per game.

The Redskins (2-2) have managed to slow to opponents' running game on the road, allowing just 84 yards per game. The Falcons' Devonta Freeman has run for 252 yards this season and scored three rushing touchdowns in back-to-back weeks.

For their part, the Redskins' Kirk Cousins has seen some measure of success passing the ball to a number of receivers while averaging 251.2 yards passing per game.

The Falcons, who are 4-0 against the spread so far this year, have defeated the NFC East teams: Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.
