FLOWERY BRANCH – It's NFL mock draft season.
The Falcons, who hold the 17th overall pick in the draft, are widely expected to select a defensive player. The draft will be held April 28-30 in Chicago.
The folks over at SB Nation are keeping track of the mock drafts and have compiled a list of the picks and have cute matching pie charts.
Most folks have the Falcons selecting Clemson defensive end Shaq Lawson (18.8 percent), Ohio State linebacker Darron Lee (16.7 percent) or Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland (14.6 percent).
Others who are being tabbed to land in Atlanta include Notre Dame linebacker Jaylon Smith, Eastern Kentucky linebacker Noah Spence, Clemson defensive end Kevin Dodd, Oklahoma State defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah and Florida defensive end Jonathan Bullard.
