Falcons defensive coordinator Marquand Manuel expressed no preference as to where he wants to call plays.

“Football, you love it anywhere you do it,” Manuel said Tuesday. “Upstairs, downstairs or in the parking lot. It doesn’t matter.”

He called the Dolphins games from the sidelines and the Steelers game from an upstairs booth in Heinz Field.

The former player clearly is a sideline guy.

(After Manuel’s news conferences, I’m ready to go line up at my old high school boundary cornerback spot and come on a blitz!!!)
