The Falcons were notified by the league that defensive tackle Grady Jarrett’s first sack against Tampa Bay was a tackle.

Because Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston was scrambling, the league deemed that the play had turned into a running play.

So, officially, the Falcons now have 20 sacks on the season, which is tied for 11th in the NFL.

The Falcons have recorded eight of those 20 sacks on second down, which is tied for the third-best ranking in the NFL.

The Falcons have recorded a sack in eight straight games, the longest streak since 2011-12 (weeks 11-15 during the 2012 season.)

“I just have to get some more,” Jarrett said when informed of the decision.
