Redskins OLB Ryan Kerrigan vs. Falcons RT Ryan Schraeder: Kerrigan, who had a sack last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, leads a relentless pass rush. The other players feed off Kerrigan. Defensive end Chris Baker had two sacks and outside linebackers Preston Smith and Trent Murphy also had sacks against the Eagles. Schraeder has been stellar in the run game. He gave up one sack to Houston's J.J. Watt last week.
Redskins WR Pierre Garcon vs. Falcons CB Robert Alford: Garcon caught a 4-yard touchdown pass with 26 seconds left to lift the Redskins over the Eagles. He'll be the primary target with Jordan Reed, and possibly, DeSean Jackson out. Garcon is tied for the team lead with 24 catches and is second in receiving yards with 216. Alford has improved since a shaky showing in the second game against New York. He leads the Falcons with five pass breakups.
Redskins RBs Alfred Morris and Matt Jones vs. Falcons LB Paul Worrilow: Morris is averaging 4.0 yards a carry and Jones is averaging 4.7 yards a carry. Worrilow has recovered from a calf injury that slowed him against Dallas. The Falcons are fifth in the NFL against the run, giving up 82.2 yards per game. The Redskins average 139.5 yards rushing a game, tops in the league. Worrilow is tied for second on the team with 25 tackles.
