Panthers TE Greg Olsen vs. Falcons SS William Moore: Olsen has 62 catches for 917 yards and six touchdowns. Moore had a strong showing against Tampa Bay's Austin Seferian-Jenkins, but Olsen is quarterback Cam Newton's favorite target and will move around looking for holes in zones and favorable one-on-one matchups. Olsen has hurt the Falcons mostly by working up the seam in zone coverages. Moore has struggled in man coverage at times, but will try to make Olsen pay with big hits.

Panthers DT Kawann Short vs. Falcons LG Andy Levitre: Short leads the Panthers with seven sacks and has developed into an interior force. He has 41 tackles and has batted down four passes. Levitre, who arrived in a trade before the start of the season, has stabilized the position, but there has been a dropoff after a strong start. He'll need to anchor against Short and defeat his bull rushes.

Panthers LDE Charles Johnson vs. Falcons RT Ryan Schraeder: Johnson has terrorized the Falcons. He played 51 snaps against the Saints after coming back from a hamstring injury that led to him missing eight weeks. He's rounding back into form and had four pressures against the Saints. He is backed up by Kony Ealy, who has five sacks. The Falcons must attempt to establish the run and stay out of obvious passing situations in order to help Schraeder slow the more athletic Johnson.
