Falcons CB Robert McClain vs. Packers WR Randall Cobb: McClain, who battled through a calf injury to play last week, is a tough defender and solid tackler. He has trouble with crossing routes, but is a battler. Cobb has 65 catches for 922 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns. The Packers will line up Cobb at running back and try to get a mismatch out of the backfield.

Falcons RB Steven Jackson vs. Packers LB Clay Matthews: Jackson, who rushed for 101 yards last week against the Cardinals, is coming off his best day with the Falcons. Matthews is having another fine season. He teams with Sam Barrington at inside linebacker in the nickel. A.J. Hawk comes in when they shift to a base 3-4, and Matthews goes back to outside linebacker. He has 4.5 sacks on the season.

Falcons LT Jake Matthews vs. Packers OLB Julius Peppers: Matthews, who has played with a high ankle sprain, is starting to come around. He's put together his two strongest outings the past two weeks against the Browns and Cardinals. Peppers leads the Packers with five sacks. He's in his 13th season and doesn't appear to have lost much. He's been accepted by the Packers after spending the past four seasons with the Chicago Bears. They Falcons have a book on him from his eight previous seasons with the Carolina Panthers.
