NEW ORLEANS — Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones is warming up on the field at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Jones, who’s listed a probable for the game, is expected to play against the Saints at 8:25 p.m.
Jones wearing a red and black visor was running routes and catching passes from quarterback Matt Ryan.
Falcons coach Dan Quinn said Jones needed time to get in sync with Ryan since he didn’t practice this week.
Jones was limited by a sore hamstring during Sunday’s victory against the Redskins. He’s had extensive therapy for the hamstring since then, including ice and electric stimulation, but said he’s mostly been resting.
Jones leads the NFL with 43 receptions. He has amassed 545 yards and four touchdowns.
The Saints defense ranks last in the league in yards allowed, 409 per game. They rank 23rd against the pass (273.2 yards per game) and 30th against the run (135.8 yards per game.)
Jones has been bottled up in the past two games, as Houston and Washington elected to bracket him with two defenders.
After catching nine, 13 and 12 passes in the first three games, Jones caught four passes for 38 yards against Houston and five for 67 yards against Washington.
