Falcons’ wide receiver Julio Jones and running back Terron Ward will be limited in Monday’s practice.

Coach Dan Quinn was confident in his team’s overall heath ahead of the Falcons’ first regular game against Tampa Bay on Sunday.

“Other than (Jones and Ward), we’re doing well,” Quinn said. “We anticipate those two being at full strength for Wednesday’s practice and they’ll participate some today.”

Jones, last season’s league leading receiver with 1,871 yards, and Ward are still working though an ankle injuries sustained during preseason.

Returning to practice and fully participating on Monday were defensive ends Adrian Clayborn (shoulder) and Dwight Freeney (back) as well as safety Kemal Ishmael (shoulder).

With his trademark energy, Quinn was excited to have three key defenders back to practice after some time over the weekend to rest.

Quinn said Monday’s practice was dedicated to throwing and catching ahead of preparing their Tampa Bay game plan on Wednesday.
