As expected, Falcons starting running back Steven Jackson has been declared inactive for Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Panthers.

Jackson has not practiced this week with a quadriceps injury. He has been listed as questionable on the team’s injury report. Jackson has rushed for 707 yards on 190 carries (3.7 average) and six touchdowns this season.

Jacquizz Rodgers is expected to start in place of Jackson.

The Falcons other inactives are: QB Sean Renfree, S Charles Godfrey, CB Ricardo Allen, LB Tyler Starr, T Jonathan Scott and DE Stansly Maponga.
