Falcons wide receiver Devin Hester and running back Antone Smith, who have undisclosed injuries, were not suited up with for practice on Monday.

Wide receivers Roddy White (hamstring) and Harry Douglas (foot) were also not practicing on Monday.

“We’ll give (an update) on Wednesday at 4 o’clock, there will be an injury report,” Falcons coach Mike Smith said after practice on Monday. “It will happen at 4 on Wednesday.”

Smith believes revealing injuries before he’s required to by the league office somehow gives the opposition an competitive advantage.

Hester left 56-14 win over Tampa Bay with cramps in his calf, but later returned to the action. Antone Smith finished the game.

Douglas left with a foot injury and Roddy White was inactive with his injury in the last game.

White and Douglas were working out with the athletic trainers.

“They’ve worked extremely hard,” Mike Smith said. “Our athletic performance staff is one of the best in the league. We want to make sure that they are ready to go on Sunday. They have to work sometimes even harder off the field than they do to get ready to go. We have a plan for these guys.”

The Falcons, who played last Thursday, returned to practice after having a long weekend off.

“It’s like a mini bye week,” Mike Smith said. “You get an opportunity to rest some guys and get some guys healthy.
