Falcons defensive tackle Ra’Shede Hageman suffered a concussion in practice Tuesday and likely will miss Friday’s game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium, according to coach Dan Quinn.

Hageman, who started last week against Tennessee, is in the league’s concussion protocol program and did not practice on Wednesday. He was replaced on the first-team defense by long-time starter Jonathan Babineaux.

Hageman was chosen in the second round of the 2014 draft. He showed flashes of being a dominant player while playing in 16 games, posting 17 tackles and one sack.

Falcons safety William Moore suffered a calf strain Tuesday and didn’t practice Wednesday. Quinn said that Moore is day to day.

Center/guard Peter Konz had a sore knee and didn’t practice Wednesday. He’s coming back from knee surgery.
