Freeman named NFC offensive player of the week

A week after being held to 6 yards on six carries, Falcons running back Devonta Freeman was named the NFC offensive player of the week for his bounce-back performance against San Francisco.

Freeman rushed 20 times for 139 yards (7.0 per carry) and three touchdowns. He now has 12 total touchdowns heading into week 16, which is tied for fifth in the league.
