Here are five things to know about the Falcons on Friday:

1. Goodell to visit. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell -- @NFLcommish on Twitter – will attend the Falcons' home opener on Sunday night.

2. Practice. The Falcons will practice at 12:20 p.m. today. Coach Dan Quinn will speak to the media after practice.

3. Obit on Hawkins. Coach Dan Reeves and Jeff Van Note spoke highly of Alex Hawkins, one of the original Falcons who passed away at the age of 80 on Tuesday.

4. Manuel on the Packers. Falcons defensive coordinator Marquand Manuel has a unique perspective of Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The former defensive back played with Rodgers and the Packers during the 2006 season and faced him everyday in practice.

5. Sark Attack. Look for Julio Jones to get more than five targets against the Packers. Offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian said, "I'd be foolish not to try to get him the ball."
