Highlights: An amazing athlete for his size. At the combine he ran the 40-yard dash in 5.02 seconds, had 32 reps on the 225-pound bench press and registered a 35 1/2-inch vertical leap. Signed with Minnesota as a highly touted tight end, but ballooned to 280 pounds. He was converted to defense and flourished in several spots for the Golden Gophers. He was named first-team All-Big Ten by the coaches and the media last season. He caught the Falcons' attention at the Senior Bowl, where he was disruptive in practices and difficult to block in one-on-one drills. He was named All-American third-team by Athlon Sports last season. He started 13 games at nose guard, recording 38 tackles and two sacks. Over his career, he played 46 games, starting his final 26 at nose guard. He finished with 91 tackles, 10 sacks and 24 tackles for loss over his career.
