Matt Bryant booted a 36-yard field goal in overtime to help the Falcons defeat the Buffalo Bills 34-31 on Sunday before 38,969 fans at the Rogers Centre.

The win snapped a five-game losing streak. It dropped the Bills, who were playing a once-a-season home game in Toronto to 1-5 in games at the Rogers Centre.

Safety William Moore forced a key fumble in overtime to set up the winning drive. After stopping Buffalo, the Falcons just had to move into field -oal range for the win.

The big play was a screen pass to Harry Douglas that he nearly broke for a touchdown.

Matt Ryan completed 28 of 47 passes for 311 yards. Roddy White, who’s been struggling all season, caught 10 passes for 143 yards. Running back Steven Jackson added two rushing touchdowns.

When the Falcons needed a defensive stop in the fourth quarter, nickel back Robert McClain, who was having a tough day defending Stevie Johnson, popped the ball loose. Safety William Moore recovered it to force overtime.
