The Falcons added an assistant strength-and-conditioning coach, a sports registered dietitian and a diversity coaching fellow to the football operation Tuesday, the team announced.

The Falcons named Adam Potts as the assistant strength-and-conditioning coach. He spent the past two seasons at the University of Texas. He’s also been in the college ranks with California, Iowa State and Lamar.

Steven Benjamin was added to the nutrition staff. Last season, he was the nutrition assistant for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He also has worked at Clemson and South Carolina.

The Falcons selected Nick Jones as a diversity coaching fellow. He was the co-special teams coordinator and tight ends coach at Colorado State. Before joining the CSU staff, he was the tight ends coach at Air Force (2018) and the tight ends and tackles coach at Coastal Carolina (2012-18).

Jones was a four-year letterman at Georgia (2003-06) and started his coaching career in 2010 at his alma mater, serving two years as an offensive graduate assistant.
