Falcons cornerback Jalen Collins has been impressive early in training camp.
“Jalen did make some plays on the ball,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said on Saturday. “We really want to see him battle.”
Collins, who must serve a four-game suspension at the outset of the season for using performance enhancement drugs, was a second-round pick in 2015.
He appears to be coming around after a shaky rookie season.
“We played him both outside and at nickel,” Quinn said. “He’s really done a good job. I think the last three days, (what’s) jumped out to me is the finish and the reach that he has to go poke (out the ball).”
