The Falcons hand out several community awards at their 6th annual Atlanta Falcons Community Honors Dinner on Tuesday at a local restaurant..

The team will recognize the Atlanta Falcons Community Quarterback Award winners of the month and the Atlanta Falcons Community All-Star of the month winners.

Also, the Falcons will announce the 2015 Community Quarterback MVP and honor the 2015 Walter Payton Man of the Year winner, Patrick DiMarco.

The Atlanta Falcons Community Quarterback Award honors volunteers in Georgia (ages 13 and over) who exemplify leadership and dedication to bettering their communities. Each month during the 2015 season, September through December an Atlanta Falcons Community Quarterback of the month winner was selected.

Each winner received a $1,000 grant from the NFL Foundation to support the organization served.

One of the Community Quarterback winners will be selected as the 2015 Atlanta Falcons Community Quarterback MVP by a panel of civic and non-profit leaders and will receive an additional $4,000 grant from the NFL Foundation to support the organization served. The nominees are: Linda MacCartney, Michael Cochran, William Klein and Belinda Richmond.

The Atlanta Falcons Community All-Star of the month program recognizes a player each month that has shown a strong dedication to giving back to the community. Each winner has been heavily engaged in team and/or their own community initiatives.

The Atlanta Falcons Man of the Year award recognizes a player’s off-the-field community service. Each team in the NFL nominates one player from their organization for this prestigious honor. The winner will be considered in the final selection of the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award announced during halftime of the Super Bowl 50.

The Falcons Community All-Star of the month winners are: Malliciah Goodman, Patrick DiMarco, Leonard Hankerson, Ben Garland and Philip Wheeler. Hankerson is no longer with the team.

Former Falcons man of the year winners: William Andrews, Matt Bosher, Buddy Curry, Brian Finneran, Terance Mathis, Ovie Mughelli and Tommy Nobis are expected to attend. Matt Bryant, the 2013 and 2014 Atlanta Falcons man of the year, will introduce the 2015 winner.
