Falcons tight end Austin Hooper accounted for the NFC’s lone touchdown in a Pro Bowl loss to the AFC on Sunday.

Hooper caught a 20-yard scoring pass from the Cowboys’ Dak Prescott in the fourth quarter of the 26-7 loss at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. It was Hooper’s only reception of the game.

The Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes was 7 of 14 for 156 yards with a touchdown and was named Offensive MVP. The Jets’ Jamal Adams had an interception and a sack and was named Defensive MVP.

The game was played in sloppy conditions.

Each player on the AFC will get $67,000 for the victory, $8,000 more than the players who lose the Super Bowl next week in Atlanta. The Pro Bowl losers will get $39,000 each.

Hooper was named to the Pro Bowl last week as a replacement for the Eagles’ Zach Ertz.
