Durant may be out for Washington game

Falcons linebacker Justin Durant who left the game after suffering an sprained elbow against the Texans may not be available when the Falcons (4-0) host Washington (2-2) at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Georgia Dome.

“Justin Durant sprained his elbow,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said on Monday. “We’ll see how he progresses through the week. He’ll meet again with the doctor on Thursday.”

Allen Bradford, the backup weakside linebacker, tied free safety Robenson Therezie for the team lead with five tackles against the Texans.

Durant entered the game as the team’s leading tackler with 27.
