Overview: Has an incredible story about his family losing its farm and then have the trailer that they were living in burn down. He was the winner of the 2018 Morris Trophy as the top offensive lineman in the Pac 12 as voted on by opposing players. He was a two-time all-Pac 12 selection.

Originally a defensive lineman, McGary made the switch over to the offense upon the arrival of head coach Chris Peterson. He’s had three procedures to help stabilize his heart arrhythmia. He consistently answered the bell for the program, as he was a four-year starter for the Huskies. He was a projected second round pick. He is from Fife, Washington.
