Quarterback Matt Ryan on the Panthers:

Q: How do plan for Luke Kuechly and the Panthers’ defense?

A: "He's a really good player. Not only physically, but mentally. He's about as good as I go against every year in terms of checking their things on the defensive side of the ball. He's really, really smart. Very physical, and he does a great job of playing within their scheme."

Q: How is Thomas Davis, the former Georgia Bulldog, who plays for the Panthers?

A: Thomas Davis is about as good of a linebacker as there is in the NFL. He plays with incredible speed and great instincts. He's great in the run game, great in the pass game."

Q: Will running more no-huddle offense help against the Panthers?

A: "For sure, that's one of the things we'll take a look at. We did a bunch of that last week (against the Bucs). I thought we did it pretty well. It's something that we'll take a look at this week and see if it's an advantage for us."

Q: Are you still developing in this offense?

A: "Yeah, I mean I think any time you change schemes and begin to work with a different coordinator, there's a learning curve, for sure. It's a little bit different from what we've done. I think there are certain areas that I can certainly play better within our scheme, and that's what I'm trying to work on every week. During practice, to go out there and perform at the best level that I can."
