FLOWERY BRANCH — Falcons running back Tevin Coleman, who suffered a concussion after slipping in the shower, was declared out of Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints by coach Dan Quinn on Friday.

Quarterback Matt Ryan (hip), cornerback Robert Alford (ankle), linebacker Justin Durant (hip), running back Devonta Freeman (knee), returner Devin Hester (toe), defensive tackle Grady Jarrett (shoulder), linebacker Paul Worrilow (knee), cornerback Phillip Adams (hamstring), right guard Chris Chester (shoulder), wide receiver Eric Weems (concussion) and wide receiver Roddy White (ankle) were all listed as probable on the team’s official injury report.

Coleman, a third-round draft pick from Indiana, did not practice, but ran on the side with the trainers. Terron Ward will backup Pro Bowl starter Devonta Freeman.

Coleman averaged 4.5 yards on 87 carries this season.
