Falcons linebackers De’Vondre Campbell (ankle), Deion Jones (ankle) and Paul Worrilow (groin) are set to return to practice on Wednesday coach Dan Quinn said on Monday.

“We are going to start practicing them on Wednesday,” Quinn said. “They were able to do a good participation in the run today as opposed to walk-throughs, which they did last week. They’ll participate in practice on Wednesday. Then, we’re going to take them all the way through the week….we’re going to take all the time that we need to determine if they can help us over the weekend.”

The Falcons (4-1) are set to face the Seattle Seahawks (3-1) at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday at CenturyLink Field.

Campbell suffered a severe ankle injury on Sept. 15 and has missed four games.

Jones was injured against Carolina on Oct. 3.

Worrilow had surgery on Sept. 22 and has missed the past three games.

With Campbell, Jones and Worrilow out and Sean Weatherspoon on injured reserved, the Falcons are thin at linebacker. They started backup strong safety Kemal Ishmael at weakside linebacker against the Broncos.

“We were encouraged by the run we saw them do today,” Quinn said. “But until they go and get some contact and change direction without having to think about it when (they) are in a ball game or in practice, that’s when we’ll really know.”

Campbell, who was told he’d miss four to six weeks by the team, and Jones, are closer to returning to full action than Worrilow.

“Worrilow will do some, but Campbell and Jones, we are anticipating on practicing for sure,” Quinn said. “For Worrilow, it may be the individual part and we’ll see. All three of them have a chance to be back out on the practice field beginning Wednesday.”
