Falcons cornerback Robert Alford, who suffered an ankle injury in the last game against the Giants, will work off to the side with the trainers again on Thursday, according to coach Dan Quinn.

Rookie Isaiah Oliver would start in his place if he can’t play against the Redskins at 1 p.m. Sunday at FedEx Field in Landover, Md.
