Falcons defensive end John Abraham, who is recovering from a left ankle sprain, was officially listed as limited on the injury report Wednesday.

Abraham played 15 of 67 defensive snaps (22 percent) against Seattle before leaving the game late in the second quarter.

With Abraham out of the lineup, the defense collapsed as they yielded 28 points in the second half and blew two 20-point leads.

After the game on Sunday, Abraham said he’d be ready to play on Sunday against San Francisco at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Georgia Dome.

Smith said on Monday that he expected Abraham to return practice.

Cornerback Christopher Owens, who was inactive against Seattle with a hamstring injury, did not practice.

Defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux  (shoulder) was limited in practice.

Safety William Moore, who had a black cast around his right hand, and linebacker Stephen Nicholas (foot) fully participated in practice.

Moore played against Seattle after missing the last four games of the regular season with a hamstring injury.

“I felt real good,” said Moore, who declined to speak about the cast. “Your hamstring is one of those things you are cautious about. You can't go 100 percent. You try your best, but you don't want to go out there and do anything stupid.”

San Francisco listed 14 players on their injury report.

Cornerback Tarell Brown (shoulder), running back Bruce Miller (shoulder) and linebacker Aldon Smith (shoulder) were limited in practice.

Guard Alex Boone (knee), linebacker NaVorro Bowman (shoulder), tight end Garrett Celek (foot), cornerback Chris Culliver (knee), safety Dashon Goldson (shin), running back Frank Gore (knee), linebacker Clark Haggins (shoulder), guard Mike Iupati (shoulder), defensive tackle Justin Smith (elbow/triceps), linebacker Patrick Willis (shoulder) and linebacker Tavares Gooden (knee).
