Foltynewicz pitches well, Duvall hits 29th homer for Gwinnett

Mike Foltynewicz allowed one run and three hits in seven innings as the Gwinnett Stripers beat the host Louisville Bats 6-1 in Triple-A play Wednesday afternoon.
Foltynewicz (5-1) walked one and struck out four. He also stroked a double as a hitter. Foltynewicz is 4-0 with a 2.93 ERA in his last five starts with the Stripers.
Adam Duvall set a Gwinnett single-season record with his 29th home run of the season. The surpassed Ernesto Mejia’s 28-homer total in 2013. Duvall leads the International League.
Kyle Wright (7-4, 4.86 ERA) pitches for the Stripers against Louisville Thursday.
