It finally happened.

Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson was optioned to the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves on Wednesday night after the Braves 10-3 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks.

With a 213/.287/.312 slash line and 14 errors in the field— the second-most of any player  in the National League— the former Vanderbilt Commodore was sent to Gwinnett along with Braves pitcher Aaron Blair who had his first major league start on Wednesday. Blair gave up five hits, five runs and five walks in three innings against the Diamondbacks.
