After one of the best seasons of his career, quarterback Matt Ryan lifted the Atlanta Falcons to a No. 3 ranking on ESPN's quarterback confidence index.

In the index, ESPN’s Dan Graziano broke down how confident he is in each of the 32 NFL teams’ quarterbacks situations entering the 2017 season.

With the help Ryan and backup quarterback Matt Schaub will receive from Devonta Freeman and Julio Jones next season, the Falcons are perched on Graziano’s top tier, “Completely confident.”

"Backup Matt Schaub, who knows this Kyle Shanahan-designed offense as well as any quarterback in the league... There might be some concerns about the transition to Steve Sarkisian as coordinator and playcaller, but there's nothing but confidence in the men taking the snaps,” Graziano wrote.
