The Falcons-Patriots overtime Super Bowl 51 game was the most watched sporting event in 2017 through July 12, according to Sports Media Watch. The game attracted 111.32 million viewers.

The Top 50 list that Sports Media Watch compiled shows an all-NFL games top 10.

The Clemson-Alabama National Championship, all of the Warriors-Cavaliers finals games, and the NFL Draft. made the list. Other notables include the Kentucky Derby, the Daytona 500, and the Masters.
