With 335 athletes being invited to Indianapolis for the NFL scouting combine, thousands of collegiate football players will sit idly by while their dreams of playing professional football become harder to achieve.

This is what happened to one prominent member of the Atlanta Falcons defense. Cornerback Brian Poole took a second on Tuesday to share a message with those players.

“To my guys out there with No Combine invite... Keep Grinding,” Poole tweeted.

Poole went undrafted in 2016 out of the University of Florida. He signed on with the Falcons after an impressive Florida pro day. He ran a 4.5-second 40-yard dash and boasted a 9-foot, 4-inch broad jump.

In his time with the Falcons, Poole has accumulated 122 tackles and an interception as the team’s starting nickleback.
