Michael Drake, senior vice president and chief revenue officer of the Falcons’ and Atlanta United’s parent company AMB Sports & Entertainment, left his position with the organization “to pursue new challenges,” AMBSE said Friday.

Drake, whose responsibilities included the Falcons’ sale of personal seat licenses for Mercedes-Benz Stadium, will serve as a consultant to AMBSE through the end of the year.

Drake “oversaw a number of revenue streams, service initiatives and ticket operations for the AMBSE portfolio,” the company said. “All of the businesses have had tremendous success, meeting or exceeding the company’s sales targets in each category to date.”

Drake was named to the AMBSE position in March 2016 after previously working on the Mercedes-Benz Stadium project as a vice president of Legends Global Sales, which was retained by the Falcons in 2013 to handle suite and PSL sales. Drake previously held management positions on seat-license programs for the Dallas Cowboys' and San Francisco 49ers' stadiums.

AMBSE hasn’t announced a replacement for Drake.
