Emory won its second-ever volleyball national title on Saturday. Emory defeated No. 1-ranked Calvin College for the NCAA Division III championship.
Emory won 3-0, taking the sets 25-22, 25-16, 25-12.

Senior Karissa Dzurik led Emory with 13 kills and sophomore Leah Saunders and freshman Tara Martin each contributed eight kills. Atlanta native and Marist High school graduate Sydney Leimbach had seven terminations and added a team-high six total blocks.
Emory senior Mady Arles was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Championships while Saunders and junior Elyse Thompson were named to the all-tournament team.
Emory finished with an overall record of 30-6.

Emory also won a national title came in 2008.
