Senior Leah Jacobs totaled a match-high 21 kills and senior Kate Bowman sparked a solid defensive effort with a career-high 32 digs in leading the No. 5-ranked Emory volleyball team to a 3-1 triumph over No. 6 Wisconsin-Stevens Point Saturday in the semifinals of the NCAA Division III Championships in Newport News, Virginia.

Emory captured its 14th straight match and raised its record to 39-3 following a 3-1 (26-24, 18-25, 25-18, 27-25) decision over the Pointers, who closed out their season with a record of 33-5.

The win propels Emory into the program's third-ever finals appearance.  The Eagles will face either Calvin College or Hope College on Monday afternoon starting at 1 pm.
