The Dream signed Avery Warley-Talbert to replace Sancho Lyttle, who will miss the next three games because she is trying to help Spain qualify for the Olympics.

Warley-Talbert is a 6-foot-3 center who has averaged 2.7 points and 3.9 rebounds in 104 WNBA games with three teams.

The Dream dropped its first game without Lyttle in a 110-78 loss to Minnesota on Friday at Philips Arena. The team has lost two consecutive games and will host Connecticut at 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Reshanda Gray started in Lyttle’s spot on Friday. She scored two points and grabbed two rebounds in slightly less than 21 minutes.
