In her fifth WNBA All-Star Game, Atlanta Dream guard Angel McCoughtry scored 10 points Sunday in the 2018 WNBA All-Star Game.
In the 119-112 win over Team Delle Donne, McCoughtry — who also recorded four assists and five rebounds — started and played for 20 minutes for Team Parker led by Candace Parker of the Los Angeles Sparks.
While she was not voted an All-Star, Dream guard Renee Montgomery joined McCoughtry Saturday at the Target Arena in Minneapolis, Minn. as she competed in the 3-Point Contest. Montgomery wore a No. 15 Dream jersey to honor teammate Tiffany Hayes who was not voted an All-Star.
Hayes averaged 17. 2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists entering the All-Star break and has been essential in the Dream winning eight-straight games and earning the No. 1 spot in the Eastern Conference.
The Dream look for nine-straight wins Tuesday at 7 p.m. at McCamish Pavilion against the Washington Mystics.
