Devonta Freeman’s agent has left Atlanta without a new deal, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported on Wednesday.

The Atlanta Falcons running back accounted for 1,076 rushing yards and 13 total touchdowns last season with the Falcons.

Falcons reporter D. Orlando Ledbetter has the latest from Flowery Branch on Wednesday and Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff.

On Monday at a community service appearance at the East Lake YMCA, Dimitroff said the Falcons were "100 percent" focused on finalizing a contract agreement with Freeman in the next few days.

“Devonta, right now, we’ve had some good conversations over the offseason... We’ve had discussions with his agent. As a matter of fact, we will be focusing on that 100 percent here in the next few days. We are in a spot where we are really focused on sitting down and discussing where we are,” Dimitroff said.
