Right fullback: Anton Walkes, 6: Big aerial shoulder tackle in the 56th minute that could have resulted in a penalty kick. ... Finished with five tackles on defense, but didn't create any chances on offense.

Centerback Jeff Larentowicz, 6: Had a few shaky moments, but still helped the team shut out Columbus for 120 minutes. ... Had three tackles and created one chance.

Centerback Leandro Gonzalez Pirez, 6: Not great on the ball but strong on defense.

Left fullback: Chris McCann, 6: Hit a nice volley across the goal in the 18th minute but Steffen gathered. ... Followed with a another shot in the 20th minute that was tipped over the bar. ... Massive tackle in the 62nd minute to deny a breakaway.

Holding midfielder  Carlos Carmona, 7:  Led the team with six tackles on defense and created a chance on offense with a chip to Josef Martinez.

Attacking midfielder: Miguel Almiron, 7:  Slammed  a 20-yard shot off the cross bar in the 12th minute. ... Worked with Parkurst to track Manneh in the 86th minute and stop a breakaway. ... Created a team-high five chances and had three tackles. ... Faces an interesting offseason that will likely swirl with rumors.

Left midfielder: Yamil Asad, 6: Created a four chances and was his typically tough self on defense. ... Wasn't the same player on offense in the past five games. ... Will be interesting to see what happens with his loan in the offseason.

Striker Josef Martinez, 6: Caught offsides three times in first 35 minutes. ... Had three shots, none on target. ... Created two chances.
