Central Florida commit Antwan Owens will take an official visit to Georgia Tech over the weekend.

The 6-foot-3, 286 pound defensive tackle is interested in visiting Atlanta not solely to learn about Tech, but to compare it to UCF.

“I’m solid on my commitment to UCF,” Owens said. “I do want to take every opportunity I can to see other institutions just to reassure me UCF is the place I want to be for the next three to four years of my life.”

The 3-star senior from Amos P. Godby High School has been committed to UCF since June and has offers from 26 total schools, according to 247 Sports.

Although the chances of Owens seriously considering Tech after his official visit are small, there might be some pull over the weekend as Owens will visit the campus alongside seven Georgia Tech commits including 4-star linebacker Bruce Jordan-Swilling.
