Several men’s golf teams advanced to the NCAA tournament after Saturday’s regionals concluded.

Led by Seth Reeves, who finished 6 under, Georgia Tech won the Raleigh regional by 17 strokes. It is the Yellow Jackets’ fifth regional title and was the team’s sixth victory this year.

The top-five teams in regionals advanced to the NCAA tournament, which will begin on Friday at Prairie Dunes Golf Club in Hutchinson, Kan. Thirty teams and six individuals will compete in 54 holes. The top eight teams will advance to match play, where the championship will be decided.

Georgia shot an 853 to win the San Antonio regional, where Georgia State finished a school-best second to also advance for the first time since 2007. Lee McCoy powered the Bulldogs with a 9-under 207. Tyler Gruca led the Panthers with a 6-under 210.

Kennesaw State finished second to Alabama by 22 strokes in the Auburn regional. Jimmy Beck led the Owls.

Georgia Southern finished in eighth in San Antonio regional, missing a fifth-place showing by 11 strokes. Mercer finished eighth in Raleigh regional, missing a fifth-place showing by 10 strokes.
