Georgia Tech guard Jason Morris is likely out 2-3 weeks after re-aggravating his plantar fasciitis injury in the Yellow Jackets’ loss to Miami Jan. 5. An MRI showed no further damage to his inflamed arch, but Morris was ordered to rest the injury. He has missed the past two games, last Wednesday against N.C. State and Saturday’s game against Virginia Tech, both losses.

Tech plays No. 3 Duke Thursday in Durham, N.C.

Morris was on crutches Monday. He has had a tough go with injuries since last year. He broke his right big toe last summer, an injury that continued to bother him through the season.

Tech will catch a break from Duke, as forward Ryan Kelly will not play with a right foot injury. He is averaging 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
