Georgia Tech’s campus police department has opened an investigation into an incident at Bobby Dodd Stadium during last Saturday’s Georgia Tech-Georgia game involving a high school player who had been committed to the Yellow Jackets for the 2016 class.

Offensive lineman Jordan Johnson of Ed White High in Jacksonville, Fla., wrote on his Twitter account Sunday that he was withdrawing his commitment after “I had a bad experience” at the game. In a later comment on his account, he specified it as “police harassment.”

Campus police chief Robert Connolly is leading the investigation.

A statement from the school read: “The Georgia Tech Police Chief is working with the family to gather additional details regarding this matter. At this time, the situation appears to involve a miscommunication regarding credentials and seating.”

NCAA rules prohibit coaches or athletic staff from commenting on potential prospects.

Johnson, rated by Rivals as the No. 20 guard prospect in the country, had committed to Tech in July.
