Georgia Tech commit and 3-star defensive tackle Connor Hansen was named to the Florida 7A All-State second team on Tuesday.
Hansen, 6-foot-2, 325 pound recruit from Tallahassee, Fla., announced the nomination on Twitter writing, "Very thankful for this honor."
Hansen is nominated along with teammate and linebacker Amari Gainer from Lawton Chiles High School who received an honorable mention on the list.
Hansen committed to Tech in June and will enroll in the summer along with 17 other members of Tech’s 20 member signing class.
